Celebrating Our 10th Wedding Anniversary!

Where did the years go?  What fun we’ve had & will continue to enjoy if David’s little surprise celebration is any indication! A 10th wedding anniversary traditionally is celebrated with tin/aluminum.  Not sure how much tin or aluminum was in David’s surprise, but neither of us seems to care!

We soared with the eagles in a vintage 1942 bi-plane, enjoyed the birds eye view of the reef and the islands, swooped in for a landing before stumbling over to Louie’s Back Yard for sunset.    What a great day!   Enjoy our photos!

After we soared with the wind in our hair blowing so hard as to make conversation impossible in the front open cockpit, we sauntered rather than stumbled over to Louie’s Back Yard (of Jimmy Buffett’s Trying to Reason With Hurricane Season fame) for sunset.

While enjoying the view, “our” bi-plane came flying over …

Sounds like the perfect way to celebrate. Congratulations, and here’s to many more!

    • Thanks Keith! It was Plan B – particularly with weather moving in… we had hoped to spend it anchored out at Boca Grande, snorkeling the wrecks. And tonight as the wind howls and continues to increase, it feels like a wise decision. 🙂 — Jan
