Eagles in the Road?

We had to make our annual visit to the dermotologist today, but just to keep it exciting, along Diplomat Parkway several cars were stopped and people out along the road.

Even though he attracted a crowd ... and a rival eagle ... this bald eagle calmly munched his breakfast.

As we approached, we saw an American Bald Eagle happily munching away on some kind of prey in the median.  As we watched another swooped in and tried to interfere… unfortunately, my pic only depicts the lone eagle.  Still a cool experience.

BTW, if you live on a boat even only part of the year, it’s important to keep up with those routine dermatologist skin checks … and if you’re a full time cruiser, you should see if there’s a dermatologist wherever you are.  Skin cancer is no joke and it’s always better to catch such challenges early.  So if you haven’t seen a dermatologist recently, please schedule an appointment and go.

Luckily we got clear bills of health for another year of cruising!  Cheers!  Jan
