This Thanksgiving, the crew of sv Winterlude is busy enjoying our annual get together with two thirds of our family – and two grandkids. It is so difficult with family scattered all over the USA and everyone’s busy schedules so I am grateful for these few days together.
From my family to yours, the happiest of Thanksgivings. I won’t do a new post until after the holidays – I don’t want to take time away from watching the amazement in Rowan’s eyes when he spots a manatee, enjoying the amazing aromas as the family all cooks together tomorrow for our Thanksgiving Day feast and keeping my fingers crossed that this fierce wind lets up a bit so we can all go sailing. But the best part is just being together….
“Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn’t learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn’t learn a little, at least we didn’t get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn’t die; so, let us all be thankful.” Buddha
