“Old Florida” Barrier Islands
We've written several posts about the barrier islands over the years, mostly because we see more nature here than we did for the years we were cruising the Western Caribbean. It's the beaches, shells, sea turtles, bottle nose dolphins, manatees, white pelicans & all the other critters that make this place special for us, even if it's not the gin clear water and snorkeling every day cruising that I fell in love with in the W Caribbean.
