Fog!

DonPedroBeach — Apparently no one else shared our enthusiasm for the beach. The usual few turned into absolutely deserted!

Leaving the marina yesterday, the fog had just started to lift from the dense fog advisory that the weathermen actually got right. 🙂

What they didn’t get right was that waves of fog would continue on & off through the day. Luckily the fog subsided so we could see at least the next marker and when we approached the Boca Grande Swing Bridge it appeared to be dissipating almost as forecast.

It looked like another beautiful day at the beach … Until we got about a mile down the beach and the fog rolled back in, making it damp and chilly.

We were happy to dinghy back to Winterlude and enjoy the anchorage to ourselves, the dolphins playing around us and watch as the waves of fog came & went.

Nice to be back on the hook again (sshhhh… don’t tell Winterlude!) … maybe this afternoon the sun will magically reappear & we’ll enjoy the beach and another fabulous sunset! Cheers! Jan
